Dear Visitor,
Thank you for visiting Bus Exhibition Centre of Hong Kong, or HKBEC in short. Here are some notes that may be useful to you during your visit in HKBEC. You are recommended to read them before you start your visit here.
Background
HKBEC is a part of www.Gakei.com which was established on 20 June, 1996, and was one of the first Hong Kong websites for buses. I, Joseph Lee (Gakei), am the sole webmaster of HKBEC. If you want to know more about me, please go to Gakei's Profile.
Contents
HKBEC aims to introduce Hong Kong buses to people in Hong Kong and other places in the World. To achieve this aim, high quality photographs and related information about Hong Kong buses are provided. Photographs and information are grouped together and presented in sub-pages. The main contents of HKBEC are described as follows:
- For photographs and information that can be grouped by bus operators, they are grouped by bus operators. For example, Kowloon Motor Bus, Citybus, New World First Bus, etc.
- For photographs and information that cannot be grouped by bus operators, they are classified under Special. For example, 'Dennis Darts in Hong Kong'.
- For photographs and information relating to past events or memories, they are classified under Yesterday. For example, 'Airport buses to and from Kai Tak Airport'.
- Bus Art Gallery contains bus pictures drawn by me.
- Singapore Bus Special contains photographs of buses in Singapore, which were taken during my visits to Singapore on 13 - 16 July 2000 and 29 December 2004 - 1 January 2005.
- London Bus Special contains photographs of buses in London, which were taken during my visit to London on 25 September - 2 October 2002.
- Bus Network - Recommended Bus Sites contains hyper-links to other bus related websites in Hong Kong and around the World. Feel free to suggest a website to me which is owned by you, or you highly recommend, through eMail at web@gakei.com. However, HKBEC does not promise your suggested websites to be posted on the page for sure.
- Photo of the Week were updated every Sunday between 1999 and 2006.

What's New? reports the latest updates about HKBEC and other parts of www.Gakei.com. HKBEC is normally updated every Sunday. The coming date of update is stated in this page. Please bookmark this page if you are a frequent visitor of HKBEC.
