In addition to the 3-axle Dennis Dragons, Kowloon Motor Bus ("KMB") acquired 40 two-axle Dennis Dominators ("DM" Class) in 1983-84. The 40 DMs were introduced in 2 batches, they were DM1-20 (DDA166) and DM21-40 (DDA175).
The bodies for these 40 buses were supplied by Duple Metsec in form of completely-knocked-down, and were locally assembled in KMB's Tuen Mun Depot. DMs are the shortest double-deckers in the KMB fleet, with their 9.5-metre length.
All these 40 buses were withdrawn from service by the end of October 2001.
