KMB Dennis Tridents leased from LWB

Due to the over-estimation of passenger demand on the airport and North Lantau bus routes, Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) transferred 20 Dennis Tridents of Long Win Bus (LWB) to their own fleet. All the transferred buses were re-painted with KMB standard gold livery for low-floor double-deckers. One exception is 110 (HN 2195), which had already been a golden bus since new.

The buses can be distinguished from those standard KMB Alexander Tridents by the following features. For example, the extra dipped headlights on the bumper, the front destination blind panel, the lugguage rack, or the orange seats, are retained. Also, the LWB fleet numbering is still applied on these buses.

This page includes the 20 LWB Tridents transferred to KMB fleet. Photographs on the left were taken when the bus was in the LWB fleet, while those on the right were taken after the bus was transferred to KMB. Please click on the photographs for the enlarged version.
